Survey consists of information and opinions from 24 transportation educators and researchers concerning transportation education training. Questions/topics include:
- Approximately how many senior undergraduate students presently enrolled at your university will most likely follow a career in transportation through each of the following majors: civil engineering, urban/city planning, economics, other.
- How has this total number changed over the past five years?
- Approximately how many graduate students specializing in transportation are presently enrolled at your university?
- How has this total number changed over the past five years?
- Approximately what percentage of your graduate students in transportation are foreign students?
- Does your university offer certificate programs in transportation?
- If “yes” to the question above, please indicate the area of emphasis (broad subject matter) for each certificate program in transportation that your university offers, and approximate number of students (not already represented in the numbers provided in the earlier questions), enrolled in each of these certificate programs over the past 12 months.
- How has the number of students enrolled in your certificate programs changed over the past five 5 years?
- Does your university offer continuing education short courses in transportation? If yes, please indicate the continuing education area of emphasis, the number of courses offered in area of emphasis, the method of delivery of the course, and the approximate number enrolled over the past 12 months.
